The Art of Capturing is Capturing the Art
Seizing the Opportunity to Immortalize Time
A camera is a tool to capture, the photograph is the captured art, and that art is the beautiful immortalized moment of time ready to be reminisced one day.
Timeless Countless Memories
The idea of immortalizing time may seem impossible but it is quite the opposite actually, as one can do so many things to keep a memory. One can write about it with a prose so captivating, one can make a song about it to keep it romantic, one can talk about it for ages without fail or even take one object from that day to represent the memory and make it sentimental. Capturing the moment from a single camera does that too. Single camera presents countless memories.
Photography and filming encapsulates a single person’s view of life but it also captures their unique way of seeing the art in living. Capturing the beautiful moment, which is the art, seems to be a lone’s goal at the end of the day, at least it was mine if not all do. An art does not have to be a drawing or a painting created by masterful hands, one simple click of a camera and there you have it, your art and your memory. You were able to immortalize time.
You in the Eyes of Mine
Personally speaking, I find taking snaps and recording videos of moments within that time to be the most effective for me to do and to have it as a keepsake. I find taking photographs and filming moments to be alluring; it makes me want to capture everything every moment of time and present it as my memory, as my art. The longing to capture life from my perspective is so strong, I am starting to see life as worthy of living.
When I began to love all things art, I truly started from my father’s digital camera. I always borrow it to capture anything my eyes set into seeing and make it worthy of memory. Then I got to hold a DSLR camera, where I truly felt like a ‘real photographer’ though there is no such camera for us to be described as a true one. Since then, I always thought that it’s such a shame for everyone not to see what I’m seeing and for them not to realize how beautiful they are in my perception. For that to be resolved even a little, I capture them with my little camera with the hopes they find themselves delightful as I do.
I want them to know that there is no harm in presenting your true flawed selves because someone will always find you beautiful no matter what. Simply speaking, I wanted them to see how I see them whereas I see them as an art, my art. Capturing them, and the memories they offer, will always be the way of showing my adoration of the beautiful. Because that’s what they deserve, to be immortalized in that moment and have something endearing to keep for forever.
From Me and My Camera, To You
Perhaps you can also start capturing your art. There is no wrong way of doing it; you don’t have to be instantly good at it. What’s important is you were able to keep that memory. To have evidence of that one good moment can adverse the trivialization of the emotion and experience it presents. Documenting shows our journey in life, a reminder of our creativity in seeing life in its full beauty. By capturing the art, we are able to create a history we can revisit anytime we want.
It’s like we’re preserving a piece of our heart and soul that we keep pouring for art, which leaves a mark in the world we live in. We are slowly creating a legacy.
To immortalize time and beauty of a lone moment is a mankind’s dream… and I am mankind.
Our life is full of beautiful things, we just have to perceive past the flaws to truly see the art within. Once we see it this way, best believe that life can be good and hopeful again. Go on and seize the moment. Capture the art.
